New GI USA Branch Announced

LONDON, CLEVELAND, 3 Jan. 2018. The Gomidas Institute is pleased to commence 2018 by announcing the establishment of a new United States branch of our organisation in the Northeastern US city of Cleveland on Lake Erie in Ohio.
    Cleveland is centrally located between the East Coast and the West Coast.  It has a historic Armenian community that first established itself in the city in 1906.  It is in close proximity to Toronto, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Pittsburgh and Columbus, all major centres for Armenian, Eurasian and Near Eastern Studies in North America.
    Most significantly, Cleveland is home to the John G. White Special Collection of Folklore, Orientalia and Chess at the Cleveland Public Library. The latter has been an invaluable resource for several recent Gomidas projects including book republications, talks and exhibitions. « Back
